Following directions for fun

We had so much fun doing this activity.
Since they always get so fustrated dressing the baby dolls
I showed them how to do it one step at the time

after that I asked the kids to take a baby blanket
and cover the babies

then give the baby the bottle to feed them,

to make the activity a little interactive
I asked each one of them what was in their bottle

some of the children said milk, juice and water.

After that we put the babies to sleep
in our arms

look at how cute they carry their babies :)

very cute!

Good night babies :)

I hope this helps some of you get ideas :-)

Hands-On Feelings

Teaching two year olds about feelings was very fun,
since I didn't have any materials
besides some books that I checked out at the library

I used paper plates to draw on the different feelings

After that, to make sure they understand the concept we acted out the different feelings:

Happy

Sad

angry

I love this one, how I got 2 different reactions
for angry :)

Scared

Sleepy

Surprised

Thanks for reading my blog :)

God Bless You All :)

dental health emergent reader

I love emergent reader books, they are very good for beginner readers because each page contains a meaningful phrase using sight words with a pattern easy enough for children to follow :)

So here you go :)

Enjoy!

dental health collage

How about a tooth collage to learn what foods are good for us :)

We are going to use this tooth template to make a collage

making children choose from this food chart

what foods are good for our teeth

and gluing them to the tooth template on top :)

toothbrush pattering

Here is a printable that will help them think
of a pattern on their own...
with this pattering activity they can

make their own pattern

which gives them the freedom

to challenge themselves

or you can make the pattern yourself

and let your child finish the sequence :)

enjoy!

for dental health

Toothbrushing chart

I like this chart because your can either use stickers

or just let them color the chart

as they brush their teeth twice daily

the sun for the morning

and the moon for the night

enjoy!
