I thought this book went great

with our letter M

The grumpy old troll was mean to his friend mouse

now Dora and Boots help him get his friend back

by teaching him what to say, and

learn manners along the way!

here are our manners in Spanish:

Thank You = Gracias

Your Welcome = De nada

Please = Por favor

I'm sorry = Perdoname

Hello = Hola

Enjoy!

New material for The Mixed up Chamaleon

The Mixed Up Chamaleon Colors
this ones I made myself,
again is for the letter tiles from any scrabble game
or simply laminated so they can trace on top

It helps a lot with letter recognition

Spelling, letter sounds

and at the same time learning colors

You can also find how to say the colors in Spanish here
I'll be making letter tile mats in Spanish asap
I'm sure there will be other themes and books
that will give me the opportunity to incorporate these :)
Enjoy!

A simple matching game

This is just a simple matching game that we did last night
another way to use stickers and/or old workbooks
this one is just matching colors
and the bottom one was to match the shapes

I really don't remember where I got the stickers but this activity
is easily achieved by cutting old magazines and gluing the object
next to the colored shape
After that, we are cutting them individually
to be able to play a color matching game
and of course teaching her the colors in spanish...
blue = azul
red = rojo
yellow = amarillo
green = verde
purple = morado
brown = marron
black = negro
white = blanco
orange = anaranjado
if you think of any color that I didn't put here, please let me know I'll added to my list.
Enjoy!

Wow! How can I forget
pink = rosado
that's my last name lol
Clemencia Rosado
amazing I forgot that!!! lol thanks

Numbers and spanish

Lately, we have been doing
numbers, numbers, numbers
We took this cut and paste snowflake worksheet from childcareland (note: this changes daily), and gave it a twist, instead of cutting and pasting we played with playdoh dots. she put as many dots of playdoh as the worksheet has it drawn, and then we cut it and place it in the correct place (not done in the picture yet) as you can see lol
Besides that, I've been teaching my daughter more Spanish than usual, I take every sentence and say it in Spanish first, then in English, for example, I tell her
Lavate las manos por favor, and then I say Wash your hands please...
Also we have been counting in Spanish to 10.
